Lloyds TBS has launched a new account aimed at British expats who are working or have retired overseas.
The Premier International Account is a current account which is available for both new and existing customers of the bank and is designed to meet the unique demands of the global expatriate lifestyle.
Customers will be provided with a range of services and benefits that will be tailored specifically to meet the needs of living or moving abroad, including free worldwide travel insurance. In addition, the account provides easy access to money from anywhere in the world and is available in sterling, euros and US dollars, or all three.
Additional services that are linked to the Premier International Account include: A relationship management service for customers who have £100,000 with Lloyds TSB International and will be fee free as long as the customers balance does not fall below €2,500/£2,500/US$3,500.
Paul Logan, Senior Manager, Lloyds TSB International Retail Banking said: “Our Premier International Account is designed to make managing finances easier for our customers with help available 24 hours a day, no matter what time zone they are in. The account also considers aspects of moving abroad that are often overlooked. Most of us would organise travel insurance as a matter of course for a holiday, but it is not always prioritised in emigration checklists.”
